Featuring: Island Circus Space
Saturday, September 10th 1pm - 2pm
Stunning Aerial Acrobatics performed by Island Circus Space.
Circus Artists: Sean Heisler, Rose McTavish, Kaelyn Schmitt
Get ready to be amazed by world class and internationally experienced aerial acrobats. From performing all around the world to right here at home, our artists have over 15 years of experience and are excited to share their work and love of circus with their local community. They are also all actively involved in giving back through teaching at our local Circus Studio( Island Circus Space) in Victoria and love any opportunity to inspire others through their performances.
Each Acrobatic performance will be followed by a short artist talk back and Q+A. This will give 'insight' into what it takes to put together a professional circus act, what inspires the artists in their craft and what is unique about the circus discipline they have chosen to perform.
Sunday, September 11th 11:00 am
There are about 25 in our group when we are all together, Momma being our oldest in her 80's, truly blessed we are to have her along with all the amazing kids.
The group is highly sought after to represent the Lək̓ʷəŋən people at significant events throughout the region. They have performed to welcome visiting royalty, the Lieutenant Governor and the Prime Minister, Mayor and Councils and many others. One of their favourite performances is to greet Indigenous people from around the world.
