VISUAL ARTS CLASS - JULY 11, 2022 Instructor : Linda Anderson
A three (3) hour workshop for everyone. Beginner to Intermediate.
Learn how to sketch with pen & ink to enhance your watercolor painting skills and create a lovely piece of art.
($20 additional for supplies)

Artist Quality Qor (by Golden) is my favourite, Intense colours and true to their properties.
The Primary Triad of Yellow light , Alizarin Crimson and Phthalo Blue will make all colors. For convenience of not mixing colors I use a lot of I buy: Cadmium Orange, Quinacridone Red, Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue , Ultramarine Blue and Quinacridone Burnt Orange.
Primary colors of watercolors:
1. Transparent yellow light or Cadmium Yellow Light
2. Transparent Orange or Cadmium Orange
3. Permanent Alizarin Crimson
4. Quinacridone Red Artist quality if possible.
Artist quality if possible:
5. Phthalo Blue or Prussian Blue
6. Cerulean Blue
7. Ultramarine Blue
8 Quinacridone Burnt Orange
My favorite brushes to use: 1/2” Angle or Chisel
1” square for larger washes or wetting the paper.
#4 or #6 script brush (optional for the color course #1/4” or
#3/8”Dagger (optional for the color course)
I use full sheets of Arches cold press medium tooth watercolor paper and cut into half or quarters or 8th’s
Paper towel and water container.
